The month of May sees two significant developments for the legal team at J&P Credit Solutions.
The first is the well-deserved promotion of long standing team member Uday Patel, from Associate solicitor to a Partner at Judge and Priestley LLP. Uday joined J&P Credit Solutions in 2010 as a paralegal and has worked steadily and successfully to develop his legal career at the business.

Rachel Addai, Partner and Head of the J&P Credit Solutions legal team commented on Uday’s promotion; “Uday has become an invaluable asset to the firm, his hard work, dedication and desire to succeed has meant he has consistently delivered results for the firm’s credit solutions clients. His ability to relate to clients and provide them with legal expertise which also recognises the commercial environment they operate in, has been one of the secrets of his success. Uday epitomises the ethos of the firm, not only assisting the firm’s clients with their objectives, but also regularly helping to provide guidance and support to his colleagues. I am confident that, as a Partner, Uday will go from strength to strength and continue to help the firm to grow and thrive.”
The second milestone for the team this month is the qualification of trainee Brendan Udokoro as a solicitor, after completing his two year training contract at Judge and Priestley Credit Solutions. After qualification he will be staying on, as a solicitor within the team.
Rachel Addai said; “Massive congratulations to Brendan who has completed his two year training contract and will be entered onto the Roll of Solicitors shortly. I am extremely pleased that Brendan has agreed to stay on with the firm as a qualified Solicitor and he will play an integral role in helping the Credit Solutions Litigation team to grow and thrive. Brendan has been excellent throughout his period of training. Always willing to go the extra mile, eager to learn and determined to succeed. I have no doubt Brendan will have an extremely successful legal career and the firm will benefit from his expertise, attention to detail and client relationship building skills, which made offering him a qualified position a virtual certainty.”
Everybody at Judge and Priestley offer their congratulations to Uday and Brendan on their new appointments and wish them future success.
